Birds of Prey
Barn Owl
PreviousNext
Another shot of this impressive bird as it hunts in an open field. Barn Owls (Tyto Alba) can often be seen in the early afternoon of colder days. Your best chance is when its been raining during the night as they don't hunt in the rain as rain soaks their feathers, which in turn affects their silent operation which they need to hunt.
