Song Birds
Shore Lark
PreviousNext
The Shore Lark (Eremophila Alpestris) is a winter visitor to our shores. A small flock of around 20 birds made themselves at home on the shingle bank at Cley for some weeks during October & November 2006.
These birds are also called Horned Larks as they have two protruding feathers that stick up as horns on the rear of their head.
