This Avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta)
is chasing away a Heron (Ardea Cinerea) that had just eaten some of the young Avocets at Cley. The Heron's often drop in and gorge themselves on baby birds during the breeding season. However, the Avocets always put up a good fight and do what they can to chase the Heron off.
