Another image of this Female Redstart (Phoenicurus Phoenicurus) that arrived and stayed for a day at the car park in Salthouse.
Redstarts breed in mature woodland, especially oakwoods and Scots pine in the west and north of the UK. They will also use old hedgerows and parks where there are mature trees with suitable holes for nesting in.
