The Greenfinch (Carduelis Chloris) has a distinctive twittering and wheezing song and once you hear it, you will know what I mean.
This is a very colourful bird that can often be seen in most gardens, as it’s happy to eat from a bird table. It’s preferred food would be sunflower seeds or insects, but as with many birds they have learnt to adapt to our surroundings and free handouts from the bird feeders.
