Blue Tit
PreviousNext
Probably our best-known and most common small garden bird. The Blue Tit (Parues Caeruleus) builds a cup-shaped nest of moss and grass, lined with wool, hair & feathers. Usually in a tree hole or a nest box that you could place in your garden. The female lays between 7 and 13 eggs in April or May, when insects become abundant.
